INSTRUCTOR LEVEL COURSE
The instructor level course is an eight day (64hr) program designed to teach trainees to instruct the 24hr "student level" course to their own personnel. Teaching experience is highly recommended, but not required. Trainees will learn how to run, coach, and lay out all driving activities.
In order to gain instructor certification, trainees must pass all student level qualifications and demonstrate satisfactory teaching skills in the classroom and on the track. Additionally, trainees are required to have a passing final average on daily exams.
INSTRUCTOR RECERTIFICATION
NAPD Instructor recertification (one or two day session) is required at three-year intervals. Recertification involves instructing updates as well as requalification on all driving exercises.
